Stanislaw (Stan) Jamrosz

   

Stanislaw Jamrosz was a high ranking official of the Polish Foreign Trade Ministry.

During Cold War he was recruited by CIA.

In 1962, when he was 43,  Jamrosz defected while working as an economic attaché of the Polish Mission in Frankfurt am Main in Western Germany.

Jamrosz, his wife and two children were flown to the US.

He initially settled in Washington DC. In 1964 Jamrosz moved to Baltimore where he worked for the Maryland National Bank.

Jamrosz died  at his home in Baltimore on January 2, 2002
