Col Ostaszewicz was a Polish Intelligence officer who
defected in 1981. He was military attaché in Bruxelles in the sixties and Deputy Chief of the Polish Delegation at the Vienna disarmement negotiations in the seventies. Sentenced to death for treason in 1985.
